I thought I would make this a post for you, since you are probably going to want to look back on your little life and see how you've grown and matured from birth to 2 years old.
Oh, Little Miss Kambri you are sweet and silly. You make your Daddy and I crack up each day with all the funny little things you say. Sometimes you make us want to pull our hair out when you don't get your way and have a meltdown. The good thing is your sweetness and smile far outweigh your stubbornness and we hope it stays that way. We love you little one that is not so little anymore.
Here are some of your milestones that you have accomplished up to this point in your life.
*I think the best present you gave us was about a month before you turned 2, you decided you wanted to be potty trained. You were always taking your diapers off, we could never keep them on you. So we bought you a little Minnie Mouse potty chair and some Minnie underwear and from then on you started going potty, not in your potty chair, but in the toilet. (Your potty chair is your stool to get up on the toilet.) You really did it all by yourself, you would come let me know whenever you needed to go. You've been a super champ ever since and it has really been nice not buying you diapers! ;)
*You really are a super sweet little girl (the majority of the time) :) You love to give hugs and kisses. You are very concerned about others. Whenever you hear a cough, a sneeze, or an ouch, you will immediately ask if "you okay!"
*You are really big into singing songs right now. Some of your favorites are: Ring Around the Rosie, I am a Child of God, Wheels on the Bus, ABC's, Itsy Bitsy Spider, 5 Monkeys Jumping on the Bed, 5 Little Ducks, Do as I'm Doing, and Jesus wants me for a Sunbeam. I love listening to your little voice sing songs. You are definitely independent and don't want anyone to sing along with you.
*You know all of your colors and everywhere we go you point them out; the red cars, pink flowers, your purple polka dot dress. It keeps you very entertained when we go for walks.
*You love building big towers with your blocks, playing with play-doh, coloring, filling every type of cup up with water, pretending to cook in your little kitchen, and taking care of all your babies.
*You still LOVE all things Mickey Mouse! Goofy is still your favorite, but thanks to Grandma you now have the complete gang.
*You love to pretend. You are always wrapping up your little friends in blankets and telling them to take a nap or to be nice and share.
*Since Daddy goes to school all day and then he works late, I have to come up with a lot of things to entertain us. Lately, I've been letting you help me make all kinds of food in the kitchen. You are really loving it. I let you dump all the ingredients in and your favorite thing is to crack the eggs, even though I spend the next couple minutes trying to remove all the fallen little shells. You ask me almost everyday now if we can make cookies because you think it's so fun.
*You also love to make "volcano's" so much that I had to go to the store and stock up on baking soda and vinegar! Another thing you love doing is painting with colored shaving cream in the bath! (Thank you Pinterest!)
*You love swimming! You especially like to go swimming at night and help Daddy do rehab on his knee.
*You also love to play Just Dance on the Wii. It is pretty cute watching you try to follow the dancers.
*You are talking very well. You say just about everything and can carry on conversations with us. It's really fun to hear what you have to say. You are always cracking us up with some of the things you come up with. You are also very silly and love to laugh!
*Since Daddy speaks Spanish, he's always trying to teach you Spanish. So far you can count all the way to 25 in Spanish all on your own! You also understand some other words in Spanish. It makes your Daddy so proud.
*At your 2 year old check up you were 36 inches, so, exactly 3 ft tall, and you weighed 32 lbs. If that whole doubling your height at age 2, to predict your adult height is right, then you are going to be one tall girl! That's okay, volleyball is in your genes!
