Christmas Eve is one of my favorite days of the year,
there is so much excitement in the air!

Our night went a little like this....
we ate dinner,
my brother gave a really good lesson on the true meaning of Christmas,
we watched and read the story of Christ's birth,
we wrote down two gifts that we were going to give Christ this coming year for Christmas,
we listened to my Dad's testimony that he had recorded when he was on his mission (I love listening to that...I miss his voice),
we played pass the present and when the music stops you have to unwrap a layer and sometimes there is a present and sometimes there isn't, the kids karaoked, and we ended the night playing Tetris on the wii (love that game) .

Christmas Day

Here is Mickey and 'Gooky' on the plane and they even had their own seat!
She tucked them in nice and tight with what she now believes are blankets (aka her wipes) |

Kambri thinks that they need to have baths too!
Mickey and Goofy haven't missed a Sunday at Church, 'Gooky' goes shopping with us, they even get to go to the park and go down the slides (Kambri is more excited about Goofy going down the slide than herself), and the days that they don't have baths with her they get tucked in next to her when she goes to bed!
She even has little Mickey Mouse characters that she packs around all day! I think it's safe to say that she LOVES anything Mickey Mouse!
After Kambri opened up her presents we spent the rest of the day down in Hurricane with Jordan's family.
Jordan's brother is on his mission and he was able to Skype with us and so it was good to be able to see him, rather then just a phone call.
The rest of the day was spent...

Kambri's Christmas (a kitchen) was waiting for her in St. Louis and we knew that whatever we bought her in Utah we would have to fly back, so we didn't want to get her much. However, somehow we ended up with way too much stuff and we didn't know how we were going to get it home and so Jordan went to the DI and bought a 'sweet' 1970 vintage suitcase for 5 dollars...he was kind of embarrassed to pack it around the airport :) but it worked perfect and all our stuff, and us, made it home safe and sound. :)
