Today our nephew got his wish granted from the Make-a-Wish foundation. He wished for his very own baseball field in his backyard. This is so neat because my family loves baseball and it will make for a lot of fun times! Anyways, we had a party to celebrate and it was pretty neat to see how happy he was. He was so cute, they had him tell everyone why he wished for a baseball field and he said "I wanted a field of my very own so nobody could kick me off." They had Canyon View band playing and someone sang the national anthem. They had a huge hot dog stand where everyone could get food and drinks and they had a popcorn maker. (They didn't forget anything...everything that you would see at a real game was there.)
The Make-a-wish foundation went all out, it's full regulation infield with dug-outs, lights, foul poles and a scoreboard. They haven't quite finished it yet, there putting a backstop up and bleachers!! I know Steph's going to have fun entertaining all the neighbor kids! :) They asked Brycen what he wanted to name his team and he said Brycen's Braves! So they made his team jerseys and hats and his own personal baseball cards with pictures of him and his brothers. They were so amazing...I could just go on at the fun stuff that they did for him. We love Brycen so much, he's just so fun to be around (as you may have noticed, he's in nearly every post that we've made) He's such a trooper!http://www.thespectrum.com/article/20081116/NEWS01/811160322/1002

That's so exciting! He is such a cute little boy. Sounds like it was a lot of fun. Maybe I'll drive by today and take a peek at it.
